About George County Court Docket

George County court records are held by different custodians: the Circuit Clerk, the Chancery Clerk, Justice Court, and Lucedale Municipal Court. This private reference site helps visitors identify the right court, clerk counter, or electronic-access route before they begin a search or request.

Why We Built This Site

Finding a George County docket is often a routing question. The Clerk of the Circuit Court maintains Circuit civil and criminal files, while the Chancery Clerk keeps Chancery matters such as family, estate, guardianship, land, and equity records. Justice Court and Lucedale Municipal Court keep their own lower-court files. Mississippi does not have a verified free statewide case-search portal. Participating Circuit and Chancery records are available through registered PAMEC/MEC access, subject to its rules, costs, and restrictions. We organize those distinctions so a land-index search or city fine-payment page is not mistaken for a court docket.

The principal trial docket is the Circuit Court of the Nineteenth Judicial District during 2026. State legislation changes George County to the Eighteenth Circuit on January 1, 2027, so older and transitional material can carry either circuit label.

What You Will Find Here

  • Court dates and settings: how to use the court calendar as a term-date reference and verify an individual setting
  • Record requests: information about court records, copy requests, and certified documents from the clerk who holds the file

What We Cannot Do

George County Court Docket is a privately operated reference site, not a Mississippi court, clerk, or government service. Our role has firm limits:

  • We cannot issue an official docket sheet or produce a case file
  • We cannot grant a continuance, set a hearing, or alter a court date
  • We cannot seal, amend, remove, or otherwise change a court record
  • We cannot provide legal advice about a charge, order, deadline, or case
  • We cannot certify a docket, order, or other filed document
  • We cannot guarantee that a listed procedure, fee, phone number, or setting remains current

An official or certified record must come from the clerk or court that maintains the case. A Circuit Court request belongs with Circuit Clerk Chad Welford; a Chancery, Justice Court, or municipal record must go to its own custodian.

Search Partners

Some pages contain search tools operated by third parties. Their charges, results, and data practices are governed by their own services, and a paid signup may generate referral revenue for this site. Those tools do not replace the official clerk record, PAMEC/MEC access, or confirmation from the court holding the case.
